Trip members can now suggest activities to the group without adding them straight to the itinerary. Vote on ideas, leave comments, run head-to-head polls, and promote the best ideas directly to your trip plan.

Guides are now split into two separate sections: a country guide with general travel information (visas, currency, plugs, tipping, customs) and a local city guide with city-specific content. Both are AI-generated and available directly from the trip dashboard.

Activity map markers now support a category icon mode. A toggle on the map lets you switch between displaying the activity's sequence number or a category-specific icon (e.g., food, accommodation, transport) on each marker, making it easier to visually identify activity types at a glance.

Added directional arrow indicators to the route polyline on the itinerary map. Arrows are placed at regular intervals along the route line, showing the direction of travel between activities. This makes it easier to understand the flow of the itinerary at a glance.

Added a personal travel dashboard aggregating data across all trips. Includes an interactive world map with visited countries and activity markers, a travel overview with totals for trips, countries, cities, days travelling, distance, and travel companions, a spending section with cross-trip expense breakdowns by category and currency conversion, and a trips activity section covering activity distribution, packing patterns, and per-trip summaries. Supports date range filtering and exporting the current view as an image.

Added a statistics page per trip showing key metrics at a glance: trip readiness percentage, total activities, total planned hours, and packing completion. Includes pie charts for activities and packing items broken down by category, day-by-day activity distribution highlighting the busiest and lightest days, and accommodation coverage across the trip duration. In group trips, also shows message and vote counts per member.

Implemented AI-powered receipt scanning that automatically extracts expense information from uploaded receipt images. The system recognizes merchant details, amounts, and line items to streamline expense tracking for trips.

Added interactive 3D terrain preview for GPS routes. Features include automated camera flyover animation following the trail path, synchronized position marker, real-time elevation profile chart, and play/pause/restart controls. The elevation chart displays cumulative distance, elevation gain/loss, and current position indicator.

Redesigned AI itinerary generator with selective activity acceptance, inline editing before applying to trip, per-activity alternatives, live map preview with route visualization, and smart per-day regeneration controls. Activities can now be individually reviewed, modified, and accepted instead of bulk application.

Added support for importing GPX and KML route files to visualize hiking trails, bike routes, and multi-day tracks on the map. Imported routes display as colored polylines and can be toggled independently. Tracks with elevation data now include an interactive elevation profile chart showing distance, ascent, descent, and min/max elevation. Hover over the chart to see corresponding location markers on the map, or select from multiple imported tracks via a dropdown menu.
