Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LetsPackUp, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Use of Service

LetsPackUp is a collaborative travel planning tool. We provide features for itinerary planning, expense tracking, packing lists, and group coordination. We are not responsible for the actual fulfillment of travel services (flights, hotels, activities) booked through third-party links or mentioned in your plans.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (itineraries, notes, images). By posting content, you grant LetsPackUp a license to host, display, and share this content with your trip members. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malware or malicious content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users
• Scrape or collect data without permission — an AI assistant you connected under section 6 is permitted use, within the permissions you granted it
• Interfere with the service's operation

6. Connected AI Assistants

You can connect an AI assistant you use elsewhere — for example ChatGPT or Claude — to your LetsPackUp account, so it can read the trips you choose and act in them with the permissions you grant. If you do, the following applies:

• The assistant acts as you. Everything it adds, changes, deletes, posts or sends through your connection appears under your name and counts as your own use of the service, including messages sent to a group chat and share links created for your trips. Review what an assistant proposes before you let it act, especially anything that deletes or sends.
• The assistant's provider is your choice, not ours. Trip content covered by the permissions you grant is sent to that provider and handled under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control what it does with that content, and its output — a plan, a price, an opening time, a booking detail — is not checked by us. Verify it before you rely on it.
• A trip is shared. Connecting an assistant to a trip exposes what your co-travellers wrote as well as your own content. Make sure the people on the trip are comfortable with that before you connect, and disconnect if they are not.
• Connections have limits. Automated use through an assistant is rate-limited, and we may suspend or revoke a connection that disrupts the service, circumvents a limit or is used against these terms, with or without notice. You can revoke any connection yourself at any time under "Connect AI" in Profile & Settings.
• LetsPackUp may be listed in the directories of assistant providers. A listing does not make the provider a party to these terms; the provider's own directory terms apply to the assistant side of the connection.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

LetsPackUp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. We are not liable for disruptions to your travel plans caused by service downtime or data errors.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
