Split expenses your way

Not every trip splits evenly. A couple shares one room, one friend skips the pricey dinners, a family travels with a friend. On the Expenses page you can now decide who pays how much. Tap Shares at the top of the page and set everyone's part of the trip with a slider or the + and − buttons. Every new expense is then split that way automatically, whether you add it yourself, scan a receipt or have your AI assistant add it. A single expense can still be split differently: tap Change next to its split when you add or edit it. Changing the trip's shares leaves the expenses you have already added as they are, unless you choose to re-split them too, and an expense split by hand always keeps its split. Who owes whom follows the shares in both Simple and Advanced mode, and switching between the two now updates the numbers straight away. Only the trip owner can change the trip's shares, and everyone can see them. Happy travels!
