RainfallVery low, Lima is a desert city with minimal precipitation during summer. Occasional light mist (garúa) might occur, but actual rain is rare.
Best TimeSummer (December to April) is ideal for beach activities and enjoying the warm, sunny weather. For sightseeing and exploring the city without intense heat, late spring (October-November) or early autumn (May-June) are also excellent.
